Have a 1938 4g D4, the oil cooler bolts on the front of the radiator and is seeping a bit. Just wondering if I can remove it and just put plugs in the bottom of the filter housing or do I need to put a loop of line on it ?
Paul
Remove the spring and plug (inside where one line enters).
Use 2 ORFS # 8 plugs.
you can also do what we did and get a after market trans cooler for a toyota land cruiser and mount that in front of the rad works well. depending on your climate you may be able to put a bypass loop on the lines from the filter body.
