Would somebody mind measuring where the bends in the foot plates are for me? I've cut out some replacements, but the originals are now flat (I didn't record where the bends were).

....simple distance from the front of each plate would be good enough.

What model D4? I have a 7J and a 7 U that I could try to measure for you.

Those floor plates are flat - no bends. (7U D 4's: 7U40602 and 7U40431)

Just checked D47U 36,475 no bends, and early model D4s appear to be the same, D2s have bends on the ends.

Mschwartz - these are for a 29A/6U D4. Sounds like I need to fit up to the tractor first as maybe they don't need bends.

willwingo, trainzkid88, and josh - thankyou very much for checking. I'll leave them flat for now and only bend them if they don't fit up without bends. I had thought the originals had subtle bends, but I can't see why they would be different to those on 7U 36475.
