D4 Find

Out driving around the other day hoping to stumble on to something when a d4 caught my eye.
It was almost dark and parked right next to an occupied farm house.
At first I was going to go to the front door,but i thought what the $#@$ I'll just sneak over there and take a quick look,so I did.
I quickly walked over to it and first off noticed that it had a 5 roller tracK frame,but the pads were the short ones?????? It was a 7u40???.Could you order a unit with those ugly short pads.It didn't have a dozer ,but it did have a 44 unit up front with hyd lines going back to the dash then crossing over like a dozer setup.
I was a pony start,full belly pan,oil clutch,solid idlers.
My question would be,is this just another d4 in the rough,or because of the 5 roller/and the oil clutch could make it alittle more of a find????
I was going to go back up there and see if it can be had.
Any thoughts????
