i found a different serial number on my tractor today . on the rear left side of the head of the main engine , i found 7U39098. on the left side of the seat i found 7U42984 (which i have always gone by ) . i donèt know what is under the winch . which one should i use , that is a big job to get at the one under the winch .

probably the engine has been replaced like my D2--i use the engine # for engine parts and the machine # for machine parts.
