Hello, What will the differences be in a 1949 D4 7U69XX and a 1953 7U207XX?
Other than the levers, and fuel tank, they appear the same. What about engines? tracks? transmission? Any advances?
Thank you for any information.

I think the major difference in 'em is gonna be that the older D4 has a one piece transmission lid and the newer one probably is going to have a two piece lid. Other than that, it's going to be whatever Cat updated as they were built. Best place to find out is going to be the Cat Parts book. .

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
