Hello,

I just got my first cat dozer and was wondering if anyone could look up the serial numbers from it and let me know what year it was built. The serial number on the motor doesn't match the one on the rear of the transmission so I know it isn't the original motor.

Motor Serial Number: 6U 6846

Frame Serial Number: 7U 12292

Thanks,

Zach

The frame number indicates 1951 60" gauge. The motor came from a late 1951 or early 1952 44" gauge. Sorry I can't pin down the motor year any better, but it should be a D315 either way.

No worries, I really appreciate you looking it up for me.
