I know this may have been asked a thousand times before but what is the approximate weight of a D4 7U series track loader (trackson Loader)? Has the 5 bottom rollers. I hope it is not 18k from what I have seen for the HT4 because that would be pushing my truck to the max or beyond up a 8% grade (my only concern). I would take the loader off (make 2 trips) but that is not easy in the field without another loader on site. The machine does not run so I have to winch it onto the trailer. Thanks

Hi Team,
from my T4 Parts Book for T4 S/No Ranges :-
T4 2850-T4 5331 and
32C1-32C82 inclusive.

Form No 30668 (Replaces form No 900-R2) Dated Nov 1952.

Any other attachments like winch, canopy, etc will add to this weight.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Eddie B.

Yep, this is what I was afraid of, looks like I will have to take the Ford loader down there and remove the loader system. Hauling this complete would put me at 30K and I don't like to be over 26K to be safe which all I am legal for anyways (not that it really matters in my area). Can't put innocent people lives in harms way being overloaded which is a problem around here at times with people that don't think anything will ever happen. Had a guy yesterday bob-tailing off the mountain (2 lane) going way too fast down around a curve, I was hauling up loaded and he almost hit me. I figure that semi was doing 45+ around a maximum 30 MPH curve. The next curve was a serious switchback so I don't know if slowed down for that or went off the side??? He was either a stupid idiot or was losing his brakes??? But he was not far enough down to already be losing his brakes. There are no shoulders and no where to go to get out of the way.

Thanks for your help Eddie.

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
