Should be able to get it out by only removing the back governor cover that's next to the clutch and not remove the entire governor. You will also need to remove the clutch cover to get it out. This is of course after you loosen the pony and raise it an inch or two. Might be able to find a manual and post pictures if you need it.

Welcome to the forum

There’s (if I remember) a couple bolts on the governor down beside the block you won’t see if you haven’t washed it off nice. Dirt builds up in between the block and the gov and unless you’ve had one off befor you won’t know they exist...might be what your hung up on.

I removed governor cover and the end plate on the clutch. Also removed the clutch engagement lever. Clutch still won't come out. I'll look for the bolts between the governor and the engine block.

You have to used some lubrifient like WD40 between the cluch housing and the motor rear housing because the cluch housing have a big seal and must be dry on and did you removed the 4 cap screws before try to removed the cluch housing and removed the screws from the inspection plate on big motor and try to turned the cluch housing on left and right side he should come out,

Looking at this photo i didn't take the bearing cap off the p-clutch housing because i didn't think it was going to come out with it off. someone should confirm or refute this detail.

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
