Does anybody know the correct torque for the flywheel to crankshaft bolts? I looked in the 4 1/2" Bore 4 Cylinder book and it says to tighten them evenly and diametrically but does not give the torque specs.
Thanks

No torque specced but torque for 3/4" bolts is 265 +-35 ft lbs. I would torque them to that then turn until lock can be bent squarely to bolt head.

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
