can anyone tell me the fuel injector torque specs for the 4 1/4 bore engine 7J D4 ?? also what is the torque procecedure to tighten them down?

I would use standard grade five bolt torque, tighten each side evenly. I'm not aware of anywhere Cat speced a torque for those.

I have not seen a torque spec. What info I have states to tighten enough to where there is no leakage. Over tightening can lead to distorting the injector.

With the later style fuel nozzle capsules, like on the D311, D315 engines is where you have to be careful not to over tighten, those are hand tightened to the adapter and the nut is torqued to 105 ft lbs.
Like mag mentioned tight enough so there is no leakage.
