Getting ready to install the new cylinder head on the D342 in my D8.

Got a few questions.

What cylinder head bolt tourque spec do I need to use? My service manual lists two different specifications.

The higher tourque specs are given for "thicker hardened washers and nuts." How do I know if I have those or not?

4H9851 rod bolts fit the connecting rods with the milled flat spot under the bolt head correct?

I don't know how you would tell other than having samples of both selected by part number to compare.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
