Planning to reanimate 34-15 diesel electric set. Pony is a no go but already drilled for starter so I’m going that way. What starter fits? Do I need a special drive or drive end housing? Or can I use normal mt42 from a truck? Also how good is the speed regulation on these old gens? Plan to run some motors that can’t wander too much? May or may not bother with charging system, probably plug a charger into the generator
