I’ve been working on my d4 lately and have problems with the injectors. I was wondering if 6B2854 is the correct part number for the valves and if the d2 and d4 have the same, as I would like to replace this part on my d2 as well. I’ve been having trouble finding this information on the search parts of the forum. Thanks!

The injector assemblies are not the same for the D2 (3-3/4" bore) and the D4 (4-1/4" bore)
If you meant to say 6B2845 that is correct for the 4-1/4" bore D4400.

Ok thanks, Is the 6B2854 the correct number for the 3-3/4? I am looking to replace a full set of 4 on both 3-3/4 and 4-1/4series engines. As both of my tractors have tired injectors.

Not the same the 3-3/4" bore D3400 uses a 2A5750 or a 5B9297.
I would add that although the assembly part numbers are different there are a lot of interchangeable parts between the D3400 and D4400 injectors. eg: valve service groups may be the same.

Hi Thomas,
How are you doing?
Why don't you just get your old ones repaired?
There was someone on this forum advertising to
repair injectors.

My local cat dealer said that was the part number for the entire injector, I’m only looking for the part shown in the picture thanks.

That is the valve service group 6B0914
Same as used in the 6B2845 (D4400) and the 2A5750 (D3400)
Not the same as used on other D4400 and D3400 injectors.
