In the process of restoring a D34-15 generator set that is 1939 or 1940 vintage. I looking for photos of the correct gauges (water temp, oil and fuel pressure) and possible source.

Thanks,

Jeff

Never heard of a D34-15. What kind of a number is that? Nothing in my book even close to that. catskinner

In March of 1939, Cat released the D3400 as industrial power units, as well as a marine propulsion version. At nearly the same time, Cat added it to their generator line as the 34-15 Diesel Electric Set

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
