Does any one know the standard size of the crankshaft for the 5 main bearings for a d315 motor
I have been told the mains are .030 and needs to be ground down so trying to find out if they have the right measurement.
Can you get other sized bearings or am I going to have to get another crankshaft

Mains are 1.8120-1.8125 clearance 0.005-0.0085 max permitted clearance 0.015
End clearance front main bearing 0.010 - 0.015 max permissible 0.025
Connecting Rod journal 1.7495 - 1.7500 max out of round .003 max wear .005
Connecting rod clearance babbitt .002-.0035 max .009
When you start measuring to 4th decimal place a lot of care is required.
Can't help with bearing availability should be some around.
cheers WF
