I'm mounting a D2N winch on my D2 and I have a small problem. The winch came off a pre 4U6373/5U13237 tractor, mine is 5U13247, so the shift control is not the correct on for my tractor. Does anyone have a D2N mounted on a tractor with a serial number of 4U6373/5U13237 and up that could take some picture of the shift control lever and mounting?

I've already download the manual. It does not give a very detailed view of the shift lever.

Yes it is Josh. Could you take some measuments for me or some pictures with a ruler in the pictures?

Also do you have the seat raisers? What size are they? In the manual they look like the are channel iron, is that correct? I was thinking of using 2x4 box steel.

Thanks, Kevin.

Kevin,
The horizontal overall length of the shift lever is 8-1/2", the shift lever indexing bracket is 6-3/8". I do not have the origional seat risers, I figured them to be 1-1/2" x 3" channel, I think 2x4 box might be a little too big.

Thnaks Josh. The picture of the brake lever is nice to have as well as the earlier on is straight and I have to make an offset one of thoes as well.

On the indexing bracket on the curved part how wide and high is it, make since? It looks to be 1/4" thick.

The seat risers on mine, D4 7U 18586 are 1" thick vertically. The seat tank clears everything by about 1/2 - 3/4" underneath. As I recall, it looks like one brace under the seat was trimmed slightly to clear the rod from the control lever to the winch.

The indexing bracket, including the plate it is mounted on, is 5" high, it's 4-1/8" wide, the radius of the curve is 3", and it is made out of 1/4" stock.

Thanks Josh I had come out pretty close to that. I had come up with 2.75" radius. This will be interesting to build. I've been trying to think if I can find some pipe with the needed curve or to try and bend a piece of flat plate.
