I need to pull the pony pinion on my RD4 and give it some TLC, because as long as I've owned this old girl, it has always been a challenge to get the pinion engaged without a bit of gear grinding, the brake does work, but only just, and now the pinion latches are out of adjustment, so it's time to fix it.  Does anyone have the thickness specs for the clutch and brake plates in one of those, like the worn out, and new thickness?
Thanks
Mike

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
