Kinda a dumb question but how long were the original d2 starter ropes? And maybe type and diameter of rope.

Starting rope is "High strength polypropylene cord with pull strength of 250 lbs" 0.250" diameter. Was sold in minimum 8 ft. length (cut to suit) Part number is 3S7537

6' is more than enough, you do not want to make it to long, cause if it fires before all of the rope is off it may rewind around crank pulley.
