Learned gentlemen,

Does anyone know that capacity of my 1956 D2-5U seat fuel tank ?
Looked at the manuals I have and could not find anything. Nor on the web.
One thread mentioned 20 gallons on the later models. I am assuming that is US gallons.....
Hope one of you knowledgable chaps can help me out.
Thanks and regards,
Ozcat. Australia

Check the dip stick. Mine goes to 26 gallons. Yes, that's US gallons.

Chris, your gauge might be non-original, since the dipsticks have the fuel quantity engraved on them. If you can find someone to lend you theirs, you can get one made up with the quantities correctly scribed.
Cheers,
Neil

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
