I believe there is a service kit, I got one for mine 3 or 4 years ago, it even included the small seal for the shifter shaft up top.
The cost dosent stand out in my mine so it must have been reasonable.
I have the parts book for 5U13237 up, and it has the 540 (545,54😎 rear PTO parts listing but doesn't show the part number for the shaft seal on the rear (that faces the implement) - just the gasket 4B9334 gasket that you'd replace when splitting the PTO gear case. You might just have to pull it out and measure it unless someone else has a diagram that shows that part number.

(Update - I see that there are two seals 2B1869 shown for the input shaft (from the engine) so I'm guessing it's the same seal for both the input and output shafts - someone else can chime in and confirm)

Hi Steve and Neil, My 5U1 to 5U13236 book says the same P/N's, if you want to remove the whole unit there is also the gasket 5B0849 up against the tranny housing.
