How tight to tighten the end plate bolts in back of the fly wheel? I was told they can be to tight. Thanks in advance. Also should I put any cement on the new gasket?

From memory they are 1/4" or 5/16" those bolts, torque spec for 1/4" is 8-11 foot pounds, 5/16" is 12-16 foot pounds, in theory new Cat gaskets do not need any gasket goo, if you want to be 110% certain then put some on.
