That is an easier question to answer if you post where you are located? Tractor parts get heavy or bulky quick, hence expensive to ship. It helps to know where you are to determine what person or company to refer you too. Plus being more descriptive on what parts you need exactly for what vintage of D2 U or J series, early or late serial number?
GemDozer has good stuff and is GREAT to deal with!

If you're in the western Half of the US, Phillips Tractor in Gaston OR (503-662-3929), NW Tractor in Boring OR (503-658-5545) or General Gear in Boise ID (208-342-8911) have all been good to deal with. If they don't have what you're looking for, they'll usually refer you to someone else who might.

Good suggestions by O'l Grump. I've dealt with a couple of the fellows he mentions, and Hector, (Gemdozer), is exceptional to deal with.

Good luck and if you have specific parts you might go ahead and list what your needs are.

At the top of the discussion section is a "sticky" that has several suggestions for parts. It all depends on what you are looking for. I think a lot of us have some spare parts laying about. Let us know what you need.

I forgot to mention the "sticky"!! We all use it but never think to pass it on to the new members! It and a telephone will track down anything(if still available) quickly.

Hi all, I have a D2 ser#3J1801, it has what i believe to be the 6b463 oil filter group. In the bottom is a cleanable brass element, and disposable paper element in the top. what I need is the spring special washer, retainer and gasket for holding top element in place. My upper housing does not contain any of those parts so the element flops around and does nothing. Part no. are 6b2319-retainer,6b3015-ring,6b977-washer,5b8912-spring. Thanks Dean Seattle Wa, 425-766-1507. Also looking for air cleaner- pre cleaner assembly.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
