Hey guys picked up a nice barn fresh D2 in my own back door and was wondering if you guys had a oil filter # for napa, carquest or a cat # don't have a book on it yet its a 3j model and was wondering if a 2t d4 filter is the same might have a spare cat one instock. Thanks,Jason

Just go to NAPA, they know the filter. One thing though you need to know if it is the original bypass or has it been converted to fullflow. The way to tell is the tightdown nut. It is a slotted nut or a t-handle. If a slotted nut it is a fullflow convert.

Thanks for the reply I have 2 1r-0659 filters in stock will they work on a 2 or no?

It is a 3j 5480 sp s/n and it has the T handle on the hold down assembly Thanks,Jason

my 1939 5J parts book shows element assembly 6B1851 or element 6B907 if that helps--this is 2 years older than your 3J

3J5480 originally used a by-pass filter (T-handle). Element 6B1851 is a screen and 6B907 is a replaceable element RPB Cat #1S9150 = Wix 51165

It is possible to convert 3J3445-up to full flow with the correct parts.

Yes, in this case it is the same as the 2T.
