Hello again everyone. I have another question on my d2. My oil cooler started leaking and when I took it in for repairs I was told it is not repairable. I have been searching for another as I want to keep it original. I ran across one out of a 3j or 5j. Are they the same? Mine is 5u 9476. I know I could bypass it but really want to keep it original equipment. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Jason.

As far as a "J" series cooler fitting a "U" series, they are different. There are a couple of variations of U radiators if I remember correctly? A "J" has the oil cooler in front of a full core engine radiator where as a "U" has a 3/4 core engine radiator with a 1/4 being the oil cooler as I remember.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
