I have a friend that has a 5U 270.. D2 with an oil cooler leak He is wondering if he can just plug the lines after unhooking it from the cooler?

You can plug them but you have to go into the filter housing and do some stuff if you just loop them around you do don't have to t this is what I did on my d2 if you just Lipe them around you don't have to do anything

as said above you can loop the lines and there is no need to change anything else.

This is how one member did it years ago.
