Use the instructions for the 933 42A oil clutch if you have access to the 933 Service Manual.

Thanks guys.

I was trying to figure this out last summer but didn't have the correct book with me at the time.

I quick look at all the manuals in my library I discovered I do have the correct "Later Model " Operation and Maintenance Instructions.

I also see that the compartment holds 14 quarts. The guy I bought this tractor from about three years ago serviced all of the fluids but he didn't get the clutch dialed in correctly. He had trouble finding information on what type of oil to put in there. Unfortunately I forgot what he actually used. When I get back running the tractor this summer I'll get the brake adjusted correctly.

So what oil should be used? I figured 30Wt Non Detergent?

Current preferred oil for wet clutches is Caterpillar Spec TO-4 (TDTO-30).
