There is only 1 proper way and that is to order a 100% corect and acurate set from ACMOC for a little over 100 bucks as GWH sugested but be sure when you call you have the ser.no. as they changed thruout production of the D2

If you don't want to spend $100, take a picture book to some place like FastSigns and get some vinyl lettering made. The letter sizes are in the back of the D2 parts book. They can match up the font pretty good if you have some decent pictures for them to go by. I go the cheaper route and just get the minimum amount of lettering made at a sign place (seat, hood). Would be half the price, but you won't have all the warning labels and such.

it might be cheaper to go another way but then you will not be supporting ACMOC.

Any photos of the ACMOC decals? the ones I got a few years back were not very good.Just wondered if the quality has improved.
This is my D2 I restored about 12 years ago.The chap in the seat is the son of the original owner. He last drove it in 1957 ! When I started it up and let him drive it,he was a bit overcome, with a tear welled up in his eyes as it brought back so many memories.
This makes the hobby worth while.

The decals I first got were from Old Twenty Parts co.These were not very good.Tried to order from the USA.Did not get a reply after several attemts,I gave up and did them myself. This was going back a few years.I have always supported the club( acmoc) util the last couple of years. When I was not happy in the way Chapter 2 and its members were treated by ACMOC USA.
hopefully this will be resolved one way or the other. As you know I have been very active with chapter 2 for many years.
Are the decals the rub on masking tape backed type? supplied by ACMOC.
I have sent write up to the USA along with photos for their mag.The seem to don't give a toss about us.Never had a reply.
