I just purchased grouser pads for my D2. The ones on my D2 measure 16"X6 1/4". The ones I just purchased measure 20"(will cut down to 16")X6 5/8". Everything else is exactly the same except the grouser height on the ones I just purchased are 1 3/4" high. Can it be the 3/8" smaller ones on my tractor is wear? I would be curious to know what the specs are when they were new.

Your grouser height should be 1.86” new and the service limits would be 0.75”.

Thanks for the replies. I still need the new dimension across the grouser pad. Mine are 6 1/4" and the ones I bought are 6 5/8". Could there be 3/8" wear?

I don't have a spec for front to back width but they do wear and the 3/8 is certainly possible.

Cat do not give specs for shoe front-to-back width, anywhere. Track shoes wear both back and front by soil abrasion. Heel wear is where the most wear happens, and shoes with badly worn heel areas, will bend more easily when you drive over rocks or stumps. The elevated, curved heel strengthens the shoe enormously.
