I am currently painting my cat d2. I am slowly putting parts back on and was wondering which gauge goes where on the dash? I was also wondering if I have the correct gauges? One was on the machine when I got it and the other I found in a neighbours shed.

Your temperature gauge is wrong. What you have is a transmission temperature gauge. You can tell because the symbol on the face is a gear with a drop of oil and a thermometer. The heat range will be off. I don't know how the redline for a transmission compares to an engine but I think the transmission would be allowed to get hotter than an engine.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
