Has anyone attempted to rebuild an original fuel pressure gauge on a 5U D2? Ive been doing through our new D2 and everything is in general working condition besides the fuel gauge. I took the gauge off the tractor and it looks to be a sealed unit, curious if anyone has tried to rebuild or recondition one of these gauges. The needed is stuck in the middle of its travel and the underside of the glass has what looks like diesel fuel on it. Id like to get this one working before I try and find a replacement. Thanks!

while it might be possible. easier to just replace. and you know it will read properly. not these really are more a idiot light than a actual pressure gauge.

instead of perfection some times we just have to accept practicality

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
