Got to the shop the other morning to find the shop floor covered in gasoline...gas appeared to be leaking out of the pinion and clutch housing plugs used to turn the diesel motor over? Opened up the drain cocks on the pony and was a bunch of gas in there as well along with fuel in the pony motor crankcase...fuel shut off was turned off but does not seal right so it caused fuel to leak by, my concern is the fuel in the clutch and pinion housing...does fuel in them housings make sense?

If you get enough fuel in the crankcase it can leak past the rear seal and down through the gear train into the pony clutch housing.
