instead of perfection some times we just have to accept practicality
I’m not certain either If a 22 is the same does anyone know ??
The temp gauge numbers for the 22 and the J model D2 do interchange.
another option just throwing out there for a mechanical coolant gauge is from A+I
-they make all kinds of old tractor parts etc....just bought one for an old Case tractor....reads on the button and inexpensive...$30...
I have 2 22 temp gauges. Both are used and work good ( I tested them) . The face on one is pretty bad $150 and the other is pretty good. but the bottom is rusted out. $100. I have 2 other gauges that look real good but don't seem to be real accurate . Both have different length cable for pickup. $50 each. The gaugees themselves are exacly the same as the originals. Hey brewzer the bottom black gauge without the operating range is what I need, it seem not to be real accurate is that correct?
Yes, the needle moves but is not accurate.
