D2 clutch brake

My d2 3j needs new friction material for the clutch brake could someone tell me the proper thickness material to get and the best way to rivet it to the metal plate. Thank you.

try general gear, they have steering and clutch parts, not sure on there location in the states

I'd imagine it's the same material that would be used for the steering brakes, in which case a visit to your local brake shop would be in order. I took the steering brake shoes off my D2 to a local brake shop and he just did what he did without much input from me. He used standard brake material and glued them on
