Here is a picture of my D2 5U at the Vista Antique Steam Engine Museum. I am hooked up to ACMOC member Robert Richardson's combine using the belt pulley on the D2. It was a great weekend of fun. We will play again next weekend.

Looks real nice, thanks for the picture.

Remember, check and make sure the pitch fork heads are tight in the handle, and pitch the bundles in heads first.

Hey Juiceman, the plastic will be applied late Sunday afternoon. Kind of like a gift wrap!

Angelo, did you get some video of the Mighty D2 running the belt?

Hi Neil, no video but I will try this weekend. It was my first time to use the belt pulley. D2 ran like a champ!

Might be hard to get a load from a threshing machine but what I like about the belt or a pto is that with the right driven equipment, you can get it nicely loaded and can then study the engine under load and look for issues/opportunities to improve, along with the benefit of cleaning up the wet stacking. Norm helped me get my Mighty D2 on to the Baker fan at Canandaigua and that must have pumped out a gallon of black oil (all over the pretty Amish girls dresses unfortunately...nothing like some '50s tech to bring the hill folk in to study it closely!) - it was worked pretty decently, although on the belt, everything has to be straight and in good order to be able to deliver max power that the belt will permit
