Eric,
Thank you this is exactly what I was looking for. I was looking at your pictures of your play day and the D2 really caught my eye pulling the 22 tarracer nice looking machine. What is a good resource for parts used or new. I am looking for the air cleaner cup for the pony motor. Mine disappeared while in storage along with many other little parts. I do have several parts books. I found the cup it was made by Donaldson. This cup has been discontinued I don't like running the pony motor with out it.
Thanks again and any help is very much appreciated.

at the top of the FORUM front page on your screen that has many parts suppliers listed. Gemdozer in Canada and Chad out in Wyoming(?) are two of the top names for acquiring parts.
Some people always seem to have a part or two laying around that they will part with.
What is the list of parts you are looking for?

It's not just running the engine that's a prob, you don't want dirt and bugs in there either.

Thank you for your input. I totally agree with you about not having an air cleaner. When I am not running the D2 I plug the intake so foreign objects will not get into the intake.
The parts I am looking for are the pony motor air cleaner PN 4B2445. The 4B2445 has been canceled and replaced with 5H5650 which was canceled in Sept of 81. I really only need the cup assembly 5H5649 and the clamp assembly 5H5707 both of these numbers were canceled in Sept or 81. I am looking for the pony motor gas tank shut off valve 3B8830. Mine looks like somebody tried to fix a leak in the body and basically destroyed the body then used JB weld on it to stop the leak. The seat for the valve is also eroded away so there is no way to totally shut off the gas. Then my cap assembly appears that the chain broke and fell into the tank. while cleaning the tank out I found what was left of the chain assembly. They used JB weld to plug the rivet hole and look like they used JB weld to glue a dime over the breather port. So if I can find a new cap assembly PN 1A2846 I would replace mine unless I can rework mine to look somewhat original. I have the pony gas tank being cleaned and sealed so it should be almost like new. There for the want for new parts to keep my dozer original.

Thanks
Kevin
