Can you guys help answer a question for me? Will 4J front idler blocks and idlers fit on my 3J? The 4J is a '47 and the 3J is a '39.they both have solid idlers and appear to be the same 23 inch dia. Thanks for the help.

I think what you meant was whether the blocks from a 4U would fit the 3J ? As far as I know, they will interchange. The U is basically the same tractor with an updated engine from the J series. Most parts will swap back and forth with the exception of diesel engine parts. Even the basic pony engines are the same.

That's the beauty of these old critters. .
