Hello Folks,

Been a while since I posted on here but am getting on with re building the engine for my D2 and need a little help with a couple of part numbers.
I ordered a set of new precom chamber copper gaskets using the part number from the parts book which was 4B5647 but when they arrived they were a lot thinner than the old ones, question is are they ok to fit or have I got the wrong ones and if so does anyone know the part number for the correct ones.
I also need a new seal for the flywheel bearing but the parts book does not show this as a seperate part so can anyone tell me the part number I need to order.

I have converted the engine to direct start following the information posted on here and so far is looking good. was hoping to post a picture but when I try to attach the file it doesnt work.

Any help would be appreciated

4B5647 is a good number so I would expect that they will work although the original thicker type would be preferred.

If you mean the clutch pilot bearing seal it is a Cat # 1B1069 and has been replaced by 4D1608 a 3B9062 or a 9S1275. Also a National seal #450041.

Many thanks for the reply, will fit the new gaskets I have and have ordered a new seal with no problems.

I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
