Came from a list of Non-Current Industrial Engines that was posted by edb some time ago. There are a few members on here that have delt with the old flange type injectors, maybe someone will respond. The only other info I have is on venting.

If you are loosing oil from the injection housing into the engine, the injection camshaft seal should be 2A1983. You would have to remove the housing, the transfer pump, the injection pumps, the lifters and camshaft as a minimum. The cam is removed by first taking off the housing endplate and the retaining washer bolted the the end of the cam. Wait, it may be possible to leave the lifters and pumps in place if the mechanism for raising the lifters is functioning, and the mating extension of the aluminum lifter is not broken off, you will still need to take off the transfer pump. A lot of work, and heavy parts. You will have to make most of your gaskets. Study your timing carefully, the marks are hard to see with the radiator on.

That looks more like a D11000 engine. I went through my injection pump and gov. heck of cam in that pump unit. The gaskets I got from Olsens. The oil seal I think was available from Cat yet.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
