I ran across an old cat here today sitting by a bush, been resting quite a while. I believe it is a D6 all I have so far is what I believe is the ser# 10A221
stamped on the upper left of the rear housing.
It is 6 cylinder with starting motor (pony) over the bell housing. Has a bucket
on it. Might try to buy it if its for sale.
What can any of you experts tell me about it from this bit of info. Can it be
D6 ? What year?

2 cu yd bucket weight 29,165 lbs and based on the D6. Worked on a few and found them to be excellent machines in their day. Not too easy to do major repairs on. Good luck. Al

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
