I have a 1943 D-4 2T #779 when I got it it ran a little rough, found out it was a stuck intake valve on #2 cylinder and a bent rocker arm. Bought a used motor thinking I could switch heads, but I got the valve freed up and switched rocker assembly from donor motor. Now it runs rougher has no power and no throttle response, when I crack the injector lines at the injector 1 and 4 no change, 2 and 3 motor drops off.

Is every thing properly bled?
If so take the side cover off the fuel injection pump and check for stuck pump lifters.

I bled everything to the injectors, and had the same amount of fuel at all 4 injectors. I did look for stuck pump lifters all seemed ok. Fuel pressure was lower than it was the last time I ran it (1.5 years ago), now only in the white range. The exhaust was all white smoke and a lot of it and never cleared up. Just think it's funny that it ran better on 3 cylinders than it does on 4 lol.

Try swapping injectors and see if your miss follows.

If you can get it to settle down, move injectors/pumps around to see if the problem follows.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
