Curious minds want to know. Sounds like this unit is doing a full time job. Where are you located and what does the generator energize.
The bigger question is how old is it and how many hours are on it! 😆

Hi claw,
good to hear you have tracked the fuel leakage site to those pesky "O" rings that apparently do not like todays low sulphur fuels, although they were a known problem back in the day.

The D397 Electric Set Serial No 12B1-up were released in 1949 and discontinued 1-11-1956, according to my (Sales) Technical Bulletin form no P717-15190.
Cheers,
Eddie B.

Sorry, but I cant say where the unit is or what it powers for security reasons, lets just say they get jumpy when they are down. this rascal has only about 3500 hours on it and runs great.I really dont know how old it is but late 40's early 50's would be very close.
