Hi earthworm,
Cat do not judge engine condition by compression testing, so none are given in normal literature.
However I found this scan below during my time at The Dealer. It does not cover the D 343 range of engines but MAY be a guide.
Main thing is the evenness of your pressure readings, the variation in readings can point to valve leakage and/or ring problems.

Cat did try a cylinder leakdown test at one time but went away from it due to inaccuracies.
They used to pressurise the cylinder on TDC, valves closed, thru an orifice at a certain regulated pressure. The pressure difference across the orifice gave you the guide to cylinder condition.
In later days we just pressurised the cylinder and listened in the exhaust, inlet and at the crankcase breather for excess leakage and judged the change after some oil was added if the rings were thought to be a problem.
Others may have some better ideas.
Cheers,
Eddie B.
