Hi, Kel.
Great to see you finally may dit here. I'd give Oil Slick (AKA, Slippery) a hard time about that POS 'donk' he sold you too. LOL. Thanks fer the foeterz. Looking good.

I DO like the 'awning' on the front of your canopy but I think it would be more practical if it came right to the front and had some sturdy legs on it there. LOL.

Just my 0.02.

I can't believe that 2 Bananabenders have snuck over the border without getting visa stamps in their passports, obviously we need to tighten the security detail here in Mexico if you blokes are sneaking around with low loaders in tow looking around our old Cathouses!!

Good to see you finally posting Kelvin, it's about time you showed me this D6, is this the one you got the hotrod engine for from Ol Oilslick Mikey over in Bakersfield?

Keep posting pics Kelvin, I can sit back and relax now you have joined the crowd.
Regards
Mike

Hola Senor Kelvinator,

Glad you got home in two pieces, must have got very cramped the two of you sleeping in that bunk. That trailer has Mountain Rego, so is licensed for life, and to carry huge loads ie 20 tonnes per axle, just hope that truck has the grunt to pull it, you might try collecting a D7 now to join that very nice D6 9U.

Was good to meet and convince you to post here, welcome to the board of information and cheek/fun.

Hi, Mrs MP.
That style of KW was a limited line which I think was billed as a 'compact' cab. The few that I have seen were mostly tugs for semi-trailer car carriers or under concrete agitators with an occasional tipper amongst them. NOT for TALL or 'robust' people.

Tell us more about this Mountain registration - twenty tons per axle on-highway is surprising. Do you have a limitation on the routes you can take? What's the suspension under the trailer axle? Interesting!

Hello Neil how are you? Neil aka Wombat is having a go at me mountain rego is none do what you want , axle is solid mount not legal here anymore but use to be, axle weights is 6 tonnes on front then 9 on single axle with duals, many years ago I saw a pic of a cd 1840 international (very popular truck in the late sixts early seventies out here if you couldn't afford a mack it was what you had) a 160 cummins power plant 5 speed box to speed diff front axle 3.5 ton drive 8.6 and single row of 8 float (legal with 12 ton on float axle) I think with a d8 h on it, that's mountain weights. I think when they go trucking in wombats mountain country they put on there Stetsons big belt buckle and spurs I ll leave it up to neil to explain cheers kelvin

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
