Here is what I have:
The original Eisemann magneto for the 22 was either a CM-4 or GV-4 model.
The American Bosch replacement would be a MJB4A102.
The Wico replacement would be a XH184.
The XHD2700 application is for a 40, 50, 60, 65, 70 & 10 Ton models.

Thanks OM,
I'm going to buy a replacement mag for this Cat. Would you recommend going back to the Eisemann? Not sure what the difference is between the Wico XHD2700 and the CM-4 or GV-4 and if it would be best to go back to the original.
Early Twenty Two's used the Eisemann CT4 later machines used the CM4.

Hello .the 22 used the ct4 on the early 22 and the cm4 on the later 22 .the gv4 was used on the 10 and 15 plus other early gas cats but it can be used on the 22 .other brands of mags are cheaper and easier to find .it up to you if you want to use the original model mag or if you want to use the one you have.

I will show you the original mag for the 22 when you come to get the spark plug cover. If you want to keep the eismann I will show you how to time it. - Wally
