Would like to know the stack height of the clutch assembly? Would appreciate the info. Ours aren't the best and maybe better to get new ones. Tks Ken

Would be helpful if we knew which tractor your working on.Cat never seemed to put that in there manuals, but do think I have seen a link to some one that has put the numbers together.I will say I have used 2 or 3 more plates than a new steering clutch would us when using used parts.Even though the manual says to us only one.Since they were the metallic ones they never gave any problem. So it depends how hard or how much you intend to use this tractor, and if you can find some extra used parts to bring the thickness up. Tks DDDfarmer. That info worked. This is a D6 converted to rubber tires. I believe this was converted at Ziegler's in Minnesota-Link Belt sprockets and chains in the drive housing. Have to call Ziegler back and see if they found any old drawing in some old files.

Testimonials

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
