For adjusting cluch you have to removed the cluch inspetion cover and loosed the 2 locknut 2 turns and tap plate slightly to be sure it is free on stud and rotate the flywell 180 degré and loosen the other locknut same manner ,turn the adjusting ring clockwise to tighten
would that be to nuts that are on the coupler if not where are they located

the scans below may help.
The lock nuts are on the rear face of the clutch pressure plate--for want of a better description. Be careful, do not over tighten them as the studs/nuts can strip easily--too loose and the clutch adjustment can slip.
