Cloudflare!

So the web developer AdCo is going to remove the Cloudflare software as an experiment. They say; “it’s the validation that keeps out bots Tony.  Which is what is making posts vanish.  We’re watching it – and seeing what we’re going to do differently. But that should stop the vanishing posts.“

So we‘ll see how that goes! Strap in could be a rocky ride..😆

Also news on the snagging list, they’ve got that too and are systematically working their way through so things should improve. Some fixes easier than others for sure..

Thanks for the forewarning/update. How many people at Adco working on the software issue? Has someone been assigned the task to work on it daily?

I was responding to a thread yesterday, and everything I typed out vaporized; I thought I did something dumb. Glad to know it wasn't me. JM

They’re addressing most issues today, Gee! Hopefully we’ll get there..

Set programming up so all members get automatically bypassed from being screened by Cloudflare?  Seems obvious no paying member would ever be a scammer or bot.  And the same for non-members having a track record as being regular posters.

Great News "Deebo", I believe all of us that view, post, use the bulletin board will be much happier when it reaches a point of reliability.

Next step is ensure Adco stays on the issues with someone that is assigned the responsibility to ensure it works and fixes any glitches as they arise. One point of contact for the ACMOC administration will help greatly to resolve issues expediently.

When it becomes stable and useable, hopefully those folks with the irreplaceable knowledge and helpful hands will return. ACMOC depends upon all of us!

As I write this note, Cloudflare still present. Sometimes in the past, it shows up and others not - again a reliability issue.
