I'm sorry Just get a little frustrated at times. Now I know how destructive water is in the cold.

PS Just want you to know I did not do it, I bought it that way and if I ever buy another, I will know what to look for. My Dad every winter winterized all his stuff. When I worked at the Ford dealer here in Sylacauga Ala. I would tell him the antifreeze should last for two or more years. But that did not stop him.

Pony block should last awhile now that it has a inch of jb weld around the back of it.

With the pony spining over choke on the engine backfires flame out of pipe and smoke out of carb. Hit and miss type and will even stop the starter from turning it over sometimes. choke off it just spins maybe a hit every once and a while? If change plug wires around nothing just spins.

how should i set my carburetor set screws you know like 1 1/2 turn or what top and bottom.

leak is not that bad in radiator so what would you recommend as far as stop leak.

by the way i never did move the magneto and if you touch the wire it will knock the fire out of you!!!!!!!! ouch

Please help, Thank you Phillip

My poney loves the choke and will not run at all without it. There is also a fine line as to where the throttle and choke are positioned to keep it running. I played with the carb adjustments and it didn't make much differance so I use the choke.

..................my pony is the same. needs about a 1/3 of choke to run smooth, currently taking the cowards way out as it starts up fine and is working so im leaving well alone 😉

lve been following your progress, youve gotta be closer to the finish than the beginning.......................historically speaking it seems when out of abject frustration thinking about petrol and matches gives me a warm and fluffy feeling im closer to getting the subject working than i think!! 😆

lts probably a no no on diesels, ive always found barsleak good for rads.

Keep the faith, best off luck.

Sounds like your Carburetor could use s GOOD cleaning. If the carb adjustments don't change the way it runs it means the passages and jets are plugged up.

Hollar before you decide to junk it. That pony might fit on my 39 d7. I live in North West Alabama too.
