Sunday the 28th February is coming up fast, being the date for Chapter 18 meeting and spare parts auction.
Most will know Chapter 18 members purchased all the parts from the Thiess family left over when the collection belonging to the late Bert Thiess moved to the Ipswich rail museum for permanent display.
Lance has covered the auction items in a previous email.
The meeting and auction will be held at the Kennedy family property at 100 cornford rd Southbrook 4363.
Your phone or GPS should get you there other wise Find your way to Southbrook and turn on to the Southbrook Felton rd.This is the only road that crosses the rail line in the village.travel south 1km and turn left onto Cornford rd.
The property" Sunrise " is first on the right 1km from the corner..

Hi, Mike Meyer.
Mainly Holt-Cat 2-Ton, Cat 10, 15. 20, 22, 30, D2, D4, D6, D7, D8, including some track frames and chains for a 2-Ton and a frame and engine for Cat 15 - I think - along with several lots of tools. Around 70 lots in all.

Hope this helps.

Hi, Mike and all.
Here are photos of the existing pallet lots as they stood a month ago. Some of us are going to go through them again on Saturday 27th to split them up a bit and probably end up with around 70 lots. Not shown in these photos are the 'small pieces and small tools' lots stored in Andrew's shed, maybe around another 20 lots, which are part of the approx. 70 lots total.

Hi, Mike Meyer.
Cain't help with that in time for it to be of much use to you, M8. I won't be back up there until the afternoon of Saturday 27th, the day before the auction. Andrew may be able to help if he is at home.
