A HUGE thank you to everyone that braved extremely foggy driving conditions this Saturday to attend!

We had a strong number of RSVP's, unfortunately the weather was not good for traveling. I will not fault anyone because of that. The safety and well being of each individual is very important to me. There will always be another meeting...

In spite of a handful that did not make it, we had a very good turnout and I feel that this was another very good one. I am a very blessed person to have a great committee as well as outstanding membership within our chapter.

Our host and fellow member Dennis Chan warmly welcomed everyone to his cozy heated "Toy Barn" he calls it, where he stores almost 50 restored big rigs,(mainly Peterbilt of course) and his man cave that accomodates well over 100 people. Many had the opportunity to view other rigs that came in with tractors as well.

We had a good meeting that engaged several members with questions and great ideas for the future. Stay tuned. After the tasty catered meal, which was delivered piping hot by another member Andy Stein and his talented wife Jane, we had a raffle and quick auction.

I am a tad embarrased, as we went well past our time slot allowed by our host, but he was a real trooper. Many had such a good time they went into overtime and I finally had to "kick" them out. LOL it was all good!

Hats off to everyone again, events like this make being part of an active chapter FUN!

We are in the planning stages for another one soon. JM

I am sorry I missed the meeting, the fog is something that I do my best to avoid travelling in if at all possible. Thanks for the pictures and information, hope all returned to their respective abodes safe and sound. - cts

I will ask Brett A.,he did mention that is is highly modified. Perhaps an engine from a High Horse D7E? He has some very neat machines he uses for work.

CTS: Several asked if you were attending. Angelo D. made the journey from your city. Perhaps he was focused on the menu and did not care what the weather was like, which btw was quite a Smorgy? I thought she was preparing only Chinese cuisine (yes, she even prepared Salt Fish Fried Rice, a delicacy; plus Bitter Melon Beef which was swooped up quick LOL) Great comfort foods such as Mac and cheese, Lasagna, etc. so everyone had a selection to pile on their platters. Yes...I really enjoyed seeing some heap up for seconds and thirds! Ahhhh, good times After having to listen to me for 45 minutes, that worked up some appetites.
